Shady Grove Fundraising

Shady Grove PTA organizes two large fundraisers per school year. The first is a Fun Run event in the Fall and the second is our Spring Fling (carnival and silent auction) in the Spring. These events provide the majority of the funding that the PTA uses for campus improvements and classroom enrichments. Secondary funding comes from Spirit Nights at local restaurants, Box Top collections, Amazon Smile and grocery store reward program donations.

These programs have made it possible for our PTA to provide Shady Grove with:

* A playground shade structure

* Outdoor Science Learning Center

* Digital Marquee outside the building

* Chrome Books and iPads for classrooms

* IXL Math membership for students

* Musical Play Zone on playground

* Water bottle filling fountains in the school

* Science and Math kits for classrooms
